Please join us to celebrate the closing of ZINE’S MATE year 2009, 5pm to 7pm on Sunday December 20th at Vacant, one of the venues of the TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR 2009 and the site of the ZINE’S MATE SHOP.

Tomoo Gokita, who contributed to ‘100 PAGES’, the zine box-set published by ZINE’S MATE, will be DJ-ing and Onnacodomo, authors of 2009’s ZINE’S MATE V-ZINE will be VJ-ing.

This year was our first TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR and thanks to everyone involved it was a great success, following the fair ZINE’S MATE took part in the NY Art Book Fair and other international book fairs and has continued to attract attention from audiences at home and around the world.

We would like to celebrate the end of ZINE’S MATE’s first and successful year and would like to wish you all the best for the upcoming year!

We would also like to announce that as of 2010 the ZINE’S MATE SHOP will be become a fixture at Vacant. From here on in, we are accepting samples from anyone interested in participating. We will continuously review submissions and completely renew our stock every three months. Please send samples of your zines to us anytime! More info will be available at the party.

If you have any questions regarding the ZINE’S MATE SHOP or the TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR 2010, ZINE’S MATE staff will be present at the party to help you.
